Flipgrid is a website and cell phone application where teachers ask their students and question and each student will respond through a variety of options. The most common is to have them respond in a 30 to 90-second video. Students can then interact with others. This is a great option for online classes or to collaborate with other classes.
 
In my classroom, I schedule the topics to be released Monday morning and are due by Friday at midnight. I usually give 5 minutes throughout the week for students to record their responses to the weekly topic.
