These posters were hung all over campus - especially agriculture buildings.

These were hung in the agriculture dorms election day to let younger students know of the voting on campus.

At SDSU, the College of Ag, Food and Environmental Sciences has a "Congress" where all agriculture-related clubs on campus have representatives to plan events around campus. In charge of "Prexy Council" is an executive team. The advocate position is the only one voted on by the entire college. In the spring of 2017, I ran for this position and here is my campaign.

College of Ag

Advocate

I get to the final three vote, but I did not win in the vote. I really did enjoy applying knowledge learned in classes.

Being involved on campus, I know a lot of people, but I created this page to promote my campaign and have people get to know me better.

Media &

In-person

Before election week, I got permission from professors teaching large agriculture classes to come speak to their classes. During the election days, I spoke for 5-10 minutes to these classes about the election and to make sure to get their vote in!

Niman Ranch Promotions

This is the company my family sells out pork through. While in college, I have been given the opportunity to travel and promote this company in the following places:

  • Denver, CO - scholarship fundraising

  • Alberta, NY - corporate "Shake Shack" retreat

  • Sarasota, FL - scholarship fundraising

  • San Fransisco, CA - sales training to employees

Above's slideshow highlights some of the opportunities I've had to promote for and travel with Niman Ranch.

Sigma Alpha Sorority

I am the Executive Recruitment Chair and with the help of my assistant chair, we have planned, promoted and hosted the Spring 2018 and Fall 2018 Recruitment events.

Above's slideshow highlights events Hannah and put on throughout both Spring 2018 and Fall 2018 Rush Week

National Junior Suffolk Board 2018-2019 President

This is my seventh year on the board and second time being elected President. Some of the things we've done to ensure a successful show are as follows:

  • Organization: limiting applications we communicate through

  • Accountability: committees to ensure everyone is double-checked

  • Attendance: members can only miss two meetings per year

Passion for Education

As an agriculture communication student, I believe education and communication of agriculture go hand in hand. As mentioned in my "classes" area of my website, I have enrolled in a few education courses at SDSU. Below is some of the curriculum I have created outside of class:

2016 Miss Teen South Dakota International

During my reign, my appearances focused on my personal platform - FearlessGirl - and the national platform - GoRed for Women.

Through my platform, I traveled to over 30 middle schools and spoke with the girls about self confidence and body image.

2016-17 SD FFA State Reporter

To say my year of service to the State FFA Association was anything short of amazing would be an understatement. I was blessed with hosting summer camps, presenting chapter visits, updated our social media pages, spending time with awesome members and finally planning and preparing for state convention.
